Saturday Afternoon Free Time Options

Time to go shopping! Boise's downtown is a beautiful blend of historic and modern buildings, each filled with unique clothing shops, galleries, gift shops, eateries, pubs, and coffee houses - all within two or three blocks of the hotel and conference center. Just want to visit with friends in a relaxed atmosphere? The Grove Hotel has a beautiful and spacious lobby with lots of chairs and couches grouped together for a relaxed visit around the fireplace. The fourth- floor terrace offers patio table seating overlooking the city of Boise. Anyone attending the conference is welcome to use these amenities during breaks and in the evenings.

Boise City Trolley Tour

If three hours of shopping in downtown Boise isn't your idea of a fun afternoon, how about this? A one-hour narrated tour of the historical business and residential areas of downtown Boise. The trolley will pick up pre-registered passengers in front of the Grove Hotel at 4pm and return around 5pm, giving everyone plenty of time to relax before the evening sessions begin at 6pm.

The tour is $15.50 per person. Seating is limited to 30.

B2G Saturday Luncheon

Since Band2gether opened the doors to its online support site in September 2006, the online membership has grown to nearly 4,000 people from all around the world. To some of us, B2G has become "home" where our "family" provides the deepest of friendships and strongest support.

This luncheon will be a time to celebrate our little family with humorous antics, an inspiring video of familiar faces, and even a contest that became a tradition at last year's conference, "The Hotter Than Betty" contest. Join us for this fun-filled luncheon and see the heart and soul of B2G ~ our members ~ the best bunch of Losers you'll ever want to meet! (The food will be good too!) Saturday and Sunday Mornings ~ Wake Up and Move!

Start your day out right with a fun and energizing 30 minute "workout" led by our very own Sarah Graham. The sessions will begin at 6:30am in the Grove Hotel's gym. Floor to ceiling windows line the east wall of the gym for a beautiful view of Boise as you Wake Up and Move!

Sarah has a fun workout planned for that is tailored to fit the needs of both male and female bandsters, so let's show our full support by dragging our bums out of bed and participating in these sessions! We promise you'll go home with tools to help you sustain a 30-min a day exercise program!

Friday and Saturday Evenings

Perfect for having quiet drinks with friends, the Bar, located in the lobby of the Grove Hotel is spacious and inviting. Live piano music sets the tone in the late afternoon and evenings.

For those of you in the mood for a livelier atmosphere, Hannah's is less than a block away from the hotel. This popular bar is one of the veterans of Boise's downtown nightlife. Live blues and rock acts pound out cover tunes at this centrally located watering hole. The Rocci Johnson Band, an old mainstay, plays its own original tunes here. A balcony overlooks the stage and dance floor. Darts, pool tables, and video games are located downstairs. Hannah's clientele is generally 30 and older. There's a $5 cover charge at the door but Hannah's website says no charge for ladies!
